In 2025, eBay’s revenue totaled $11.10 billion, 7.95% higher than it was in 2024.

  • In 2025, worldwide, buyers outnumbered sellers on eBay by nearly 8:1.
  • eBay employed 12,300 globally at the end of 2025; 7,200 were U.S. employees.
  • eBay’s U.S. revenue totaled $5.789 billion in 2025, up 10.5% year-over-year (YoY).

eBay International Sales Statistics

In 2025, eBay’s international revenue totaled $5.311 billion, up 5.27% YoY.

  • As a percentage of global revenue, international eBay sales were seven (7) times higher in 2025 than they were in 2000.
  • Among eBay’s international segments, China’s share of total revenue increased the most, from 10.2% in 2023 to 11.4% in 2024.
  • Among eBay’s international segments, the share of total revenue outside the U.S., U.K., China, and Germany increased the most, from 13.58% in 2024 to 13.65% in 2025.
  • U.S. sales contributed less than half of eBay’s global revenue in 2007 and every year until 2023.
