U.S. eCommerce sales totaled $205.6 billion in the first two (2) months of 2024, up 13.3%  YoY. 

  • Adjusted for seasonal variation, retail e-commerce sales totaled an estimated $219.8 billion in the first two months of 2024, or 15.7% of total retail sales for the quarter. 
  • eCommerce sales increased 218% faster from the first two months of 2023 to 2024; total sales increased 4.18% in this period.
  • As of February 2024, e-commerce accounts for 15.5% of all retail sales in the U.S.
  • In February 2023, U.S. e-commerce sales increased 14.6% YoY.
  • eCommerce as a percentage of retail sales is up 7.39% YoY.

Most e-commerce revenue comes from business-to-business (B2B) sales as opposed to consumer retail or business-to-consumer (B2C).
