About Good To-Go
Good To-Go is a small and rapidly growing company based in Kittery, Maine. Good To -Go creates delicious, lightweight, gourmet dehydrated meals with all natural ingredients and no preservatives.
Good To-Go was founded by husband and wife team David Koorits & Jennifer Scism. Jennifer is an accomplished chef and was long-time co-owner of Annisa, a nationally recognized restaurant in New York City’s Greenwich Village. She has cooked at NY Times 4-star rated restaurants, traveled to over 20 countries studying regional foods, and has beaten the Iron Chef, Mario Batali, on the Food Network’s Iron Chef. It’s safe to say she knows good food.
As Jen and David’s outdoor adventures turned from day trips to overnights and extended backcountry adventures, Jen struggled with the pre-packaged meal choices available at that time. So she began preparing her favorite meals and dehydrating them. Her meals were so delicious they wanted everyone to be able to enjoy them.
Good To-Go meals are not only delicious and easy to prepare, but are the perfect option whether you’re on the trail or looking for a quick lunch at your desk. Having launched in early 2014, the brand has gained the attention of discerning backcountry diners. The Thai Curry, for example, is not only a customer favorite, but a winner of Backpacker Magazine’s coveted Editors’ Choice Snow Award. Good To-Go meals have been featured in and have been highly regarded by the New York Times, Men's Journal, Overland Journal, Gear Junkie, and so on.
