About SlingFin

SlingFin’s goal is to make the best shelters in the world. We’re focused on making high-end, technical products for experienced users who depend on their tents in places where a failure would be dangerous or even life-threatening.

We believe that the strength of your shelter should not be the limiting factor on your adventures, and we design our tents accordingly. Though SlingFin began by making domes for basecamps on 8000m peaks, we’ve applied what we learned on our alpine tents to our backpacking tents. For our lightweight tents, our goal is to make shelters that are the strongest in their respective categories so that users can push for that higher camp to see a meteor shower or take in the morning view above treeline without worrying if their tent can hack it. SlingFin exists to help people push higher and farther with the peace of mind that they’ll have a dependable home when they stop for the night.
